Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information Glow Up ("App", "we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

1a. Information You Provide

Onboarding answers: Goals, age range, and self-improvement focus areas you enter during setup.
Habit data: Daily completions, streaks, notes, and progress you log inside the App.
Personal Plan inputs: If you choose the AI-powered Personal Plan feature, your selected selfie and chosen goal are sent to Gemini only after you grant in-app permission so Gemini can generate your AI plan.

1b. Information Collected Automatically

Device identifiers: Anonymous identifiers used to associate your session with your subscription status (via RevenueCat).
Usage analytics: Aggregate, anonymised data about feature use, session length, and crash reports to improve the App.
Purchase data: Subscription and purchase records processed through Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

RevenueCat – subscription management. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple App Store – payment processing. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
Google Gemini API – AI-powered Personal Plan generation. If you grant permission and tap Generate plan, your selected selfie and chosen goal are sent through Glow Up's secure proxy to Gemini, operated by Google LLC. Glow Up does not store the selfie for this feature. See policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. AI Features and Consent

The Personal Plan feature is optional. Before Glow Up sends a selfie or goal to Google Gemini, the app explains what data will be shared, identifies Gemini as the third-party AI provider, and asks for your permission in the app.

If you do not consent, Glow Up will not send your selfie or goal to Gemini and the AI plan will not run.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Most of your habit data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. Subscription records are retained for the duration required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Data portability.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, we may send you habit reminders and motivational nudges. You can withdraw consent at any time via your device's notification settings.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
